Quality Engineer Associate

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline
• Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
• Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
• Must be a US citizen

Job Description

To support the Receiving Inspectors, your typical roles will include:

• Supporting the creation/assignment of inspection plans
• Interpreting specifications
• Resolving hardware/paperwork anomalies
• Implementing corrective actions
• Performing trend analysis and continuous improvement implementation based on inspection data

You will collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers on quality-related issues to ensure quality standards and inspection criteria are in place. Your responsibilities also include:

• Tracking and analyzing metrics to develop process improvements and reduce inspection times
• Maintaining customer satisfaction and experience

Desired Skills

• AS9100 Compliance experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Demonstrated experience performing process improvements
• Microsoft Excel (macro creation)
• Tableau dashboard creation
• EDSS Quality Notifications
• EPDM
• Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office software suite
• SAP and/or ERP experience
• Problem solving experience
• Able to communicate effectively
• Able to work independently and as a team player
