Position Details Position Title: Software Quality Assurance Manager Department: Software Group FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Reno, NV or Menlo Park, CA Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 Reports to: Chief Information Officer. Essential Functions You will be responsible for managing the quality group. We are looking for smart, hard-working people that have a passion for quality. Specific Responsibilities Include This role will initially be part hands on and part management. The person that gets hired will be expected to help build the QA team. Specific activities involve Creation of an overall software testing and release strategyManaging the day to day testing effortsWork closely with product management to understand the expectations for the systemWork closely with the engineering team to understand the product created Work closely with the engineering team to understand the existing unit testsWork closely with the IT/DevOps team to understand the deployment model Technologies you should be familiar with Automated testing environmentJIRAGITHUB/GITLAB Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university.Able to learn new technologies quicklyAble to work both independently and in a team environment.An understanding of software development cycles and release management processesExcellent writing skills and willingness to write documentationAn understanding of software quality metrics and quality processCreative problem solverExperience in at least one of the technologies listed above in addition to Flutter About Diagnose Early - Diagnose Early is bringing non-invasive biometric and medical testing to the world.
