About the role
The Software Product Team Lead will oversee the development and delivery of software products within the Digital Ops team. This role is responsible for leading a team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects within the Digital Ops team.
- Lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Manage project timelines and resources to meet deadlines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Identify and address technical issues and bugs in software products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and management.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of software developers.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with software development in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of software development tools and technologies such as Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Docker.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
