Software or Systems Engineers - Flight Controls
About the role
We are seeking an Avionics Software or Systems Engineer to join our team. This position can be either direct in one of our office locations or as a remote contract. Our offices are located in Phoenix, AZ, Cedar Rapids, IA, Grand Rapids, MI, Bothell, WA, Lexington, KY, and New Orleans, LA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Avionics Flight Controls software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver embedded software solutions
- Apply object-oriented programming languages and software development methodologies
- Work on a variety of projects using advanced software development technologies
- Contribute to a positive work environment that values diversity and inclusion
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience
- Significant Avionics Flight Controls software experience
- Strong object-oriented language (C++, C#, Python, etc.) and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) experience
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
- Embedded software experience
Qualifications
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status)
- Ability to obtain export authorization

Pay
Pay Range: $75/hr - $110/hr - DOE - Contract $75,000 - $145,000 - DOE - Direct
