Software or Systems Engineers - Flight Controls
About the role
We are seeking an Avionics Software or Systems Engineer to join our team. This position can be either directly employed in one of our office locations or as a remote contract. Our offices are located in Phoenix, AZ, Cedar Rapids, IA, Grand Rapids, MI, Bothell, WA, Lexington, KY, and New Orleans, LA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain avionics flight controls software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions
- Apply object-oriented programming languages and software development methodologies
- Work on a variety of projects using advanced software development technologies
- Contribute to a company culture focused on a balanced work-life environment and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience
- Significant experience in Avionics Flight Controls software
- Strong skills in object-oriented languages such as C++, C#, Python, etc.
- Experience with software development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, etc.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
- Experience with embedded software

Pay
- Pay Range: $75/hr - $110/hr - DOE (Direct) / $75,000 - $145,000 - DOE (Contract)
