Software or Systems Engineers - Avionics
About the role
We are seeking passionate Software or Systems Engineers to design and develop software solutions for state-of-the-art safety-critical systems in the areas of Avionics and Space Exploration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions for safety-critical systems in Avionics and Space Exploration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software products
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices, including DO-178
- Collaborate with embedded software developers and other engineers to integrate system components
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience
- Avionics software development experience including DO-178
- Proficiency in at least one language such as C or C++
- Embedded software experience is desired but not required

Pay
Salary Range: $75,000-$145,000 DOE
Schedule
This position is on-site five days a week in Tucson.
