Systems Engineer II - Integrated Avionics Software Systems

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, integration, and verification of avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform
• Contribute to software-to-software systems integration efforts for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck
• Work collaboratively with product teams (e.g. Flight Displays, FMS, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of their modules
• Participate in system architecture and design activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software, hardware, safety, certification, and test
• Develop, analyze, and manage avionics system requirements
• Support system architecture definition, trade studies, and integration
• Participate in verification and validation activities
• Perform system impact analysis and support root cause investigations
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during development and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• ~2 years of Systems Engineering or related experience, with experience in Integrated Software Systems
• Working knowledge of requirements, integration, and verification
• Familiarity with avionics development lifecycles is of value
• Experience with requirements or MBSE modeling tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment
