About the role

We are seeking passionate Software or Systems Engineers to design and develop software solutions for state-of-the-art safety-critical systems in the areas of Avionics and Space Exploration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions for safety-critical systems in Avionics and Space Exploration.
  • Work on projects involving Avionics and Space Exploration applications such as Synthetic Vision Cockpit Displays, Flight Management System Guidance and Navigation, Platforms, and Datalink Applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets project requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices, including DO-178 for Avionics software development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.
  • Avionics software development experience including DO-178.
  • Proficiency in at least one language such as C or C++.
  • Embedded software experience is desired but not required.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems.

Pay

Salary Range: $75,000-$145,000 DOE
