Position Summary

Top level technical and business expert. Focus is on EHR development, process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Lead and work with multi-disciplinary project teams to leverage new and/or existing technology and system functionality in support of customer-focused IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify new software or enhancements related to the EHR
• Manage complicated issues that span multiple modules, deploy and monitor applications
• Propose and lead process improvements projects for development
• Share knowledge within team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks and training
• Partner with engagement management and participate community forums to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met in order to deliver value to our stakeholders and business areas as committed
• Requiring the highest level understanding of the EHR systems and limitations
• Works with IT professionals and EHR experts to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, domains, and peripherals
• Evaluate vendor proposals for purchases of hardware, software, and technical services to assure adherence to technical specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent years of work experience
• Ten (10) years of increasing responsibility in related work experience is required
• Proficient in CCL, Discern Expert Rules, SAP Business Objects, Discern Analytics, Cerner MPages, Smart on FHIR

Qualifications

• A wide degree of creativity, latitude, and accountability is expected
• Directs IT solutions related to rules, reports and integration and coordinate activities

Skills

• High level of diverse technical experience related to analyzing system’s needs, development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering
