Software Engineering Senior Manager

About the role

A SaaS company that provides customer operating systems for financial services organizations is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join their team. You'll oversee a team of 6-10 developers who are responsible for the platform that handles customer relationships, data, and integrations. The company is moving to invest heavily in modernization, AI-driven capabilities, and scaling.

Responsibilities

• Handle code reviews
• Provide insight in architecture and design
• Step in to handle tickets yourself
• Prioritize managing a distributed team
• Oversee expansion of .NET microservices and event-driven architecture
• Implement Kafka across the platform

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with C# .NET
• Experience with authentications, SSO, MFA, IAM, etc.
• 2+ years of experience managing developers
• Strong communication skills
• Recent hands-on experience
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future

Schedule

Remote hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week in either Minneapolis, MN or Coppell, TX.
