Software Engineering Manager – Device Intelligence and Geospatial Insights

About the role

The Device Intelligence & Geospatial Insights (DIGI) team develops the engineering platforms and trusted data products that help T-Mobile understand what customers are experiencing on the network. The team collects, manages, and transforms large-scale device diagnostics into reusable data products, geospatial intelligence, and AI-enabled insights that enable teams across T-Mobile to identify customer-impacting issues faster, prioritize network investments, improve device performance, and measure the impact of network changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
• Experience leading software engineering teams delivering scalable enterprise applications or data platforms
• Experience coaching engineers while remaining technically engaged
• Experience driving architectural discussions and engineering best practices
• Experience partnering effectively across engineering and business organizations
• Experience delivering reliable, maintainable software solutions in fast-paced environments
• Experience building trust through technical expertise, collaboration, and execution
