Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of software development.
- Lead a multi-discipline team to deliver solutions in concert with peer teams in support of a unified product vision.
- Work in a dynamic and challenging environment utilizing an agile development methodology to deliver products to market.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile development methodologies.
- Lead the team in using AI to improve productivity, code quality, and development workflows, while promoting responsible and effective adoption across the lifecycle.
- Implement and oversee DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate and contribute to the prioritization of projects within the team.
- Work with peers to balance development roadmap projects vs. escalation of operational issues.
- Contribute to a strategy of year-over-year improvement to the product and evolution of the underlying platform.
- Identify and implement Key Performance Indicators for measuring and improving team effectiveness.
- Communicate and drive internal work to meet deliverables.
- Coach your team for employee growth and development.
- Perform staff evaluations.
- Recommend and contribute to process improvement initiatives including but not limited to product enhancements, internal/external education, and processes.
- Commit to expanding your technological skills and maintaining advanced knowledge of the Corrections Solutions products.
Qualifications
- Ace of Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership-oriented software position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service.
- You should value deadlines and regularly complete work on time.
- Ability to make sound, effective and timely decisions along with the ability to solve problems involving complex issues.
- Ability to negotiate and partner internally and externally, with those who are both technical and non-technical.
- Experience with SaaS product delivery.
- A strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience implementing DevOps tools and practices.
- Agile experience required. Scrum Master certification preferred.
- A solid understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies.
- Adept at requirements gathering and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
