Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of software development.
  • Lead a multi-discipline team to deliver solutions in concert with peer teams in support of a unified product vision.
  • Work in a dynamic and challenging environment utilizing an agile development methodology to deliver products to market.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile development methodologies.
  • Lead the team in using AI to improve productivity, code quality, and development workflows, while promoting responsible and effective adoption across the lifecycle.
  • Implement and oversee DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the prioritization of projects within the team.
  • Work with peers to balance development roadmap projects vs. escalation of operational issues.
  • Contribute to a strategy of year-over-year improvement to the product and evolution of the underlying platform.
  • Identify and implement Key Performance Indicators for measuring and improving team effectiveness.
  • Communicate and drive internal work to meet deliverables.
  • Coach your team for employee growth and development.
  • Perform staff evaluations.
  • Recommend and contribute to process improvement initiatives including but not limited to product enhancements, internal/external education, and processes.
  • Commit to expanding your technological skills and maintaining advanced knowledge of the Corrections Solutions products.

Qualifications

  • Ace of Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership-oriented software position.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service.
  • You should value deadlines and regularly complete work on time.
  • Ability to make sound, effective and timely decisions along with the ability to solve problems involving complex issues.
  • Ability to negotiate and partner internally and externally, with those who are both technical and non-technical.
  • Experience with SaaS product delivery.
  • A strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience implementing DevOps tools and practices.
  • Agile experience required. Scrum Master certification preferred.
  • A solid understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies.
  • Adept at requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
