About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $115,400 – $192,300 annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and support for engineering challenges
• Lead the design, architecture, and development of complex software solutions
• Define technical direction aligned with product and business goals
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure software quality, security, scalability, and documentation
• Drive engineering best practices, including CI/CD and code reviews
• Manage planning, estimation, and sprint execution for sustainable delivery

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience and technical leadership
• Expertise in modern programming languages: Python, Java, C#,.NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience with AWS and engineering tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
• Proven mentoring and team development skills
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
