Software Engineer V (ServiceNow)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow modules to meet project requirements.
• Lead the design of platform architecture with an emphasis on out-of-the-box configuration and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze existing processes and implement improvements within the ServiceNow environment.
• Document technical specifications and architecture decisions for platform modules.
• Support integration efforts with external tools and systems.
• Lead technical reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow platforms.
• Proven expertise in modules such as ITSM, GRC, Virtual Agent, and ServiceNow integrations.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and platform configuration.
• Able to lead technical aspects of a large-scale platform rebuild project.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist is highly preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in large enterprise environments and greenfield implementations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and CMDB best practices.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience on technical teams.
