Software Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance)

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Develop and maintain microservices and applications using Golang or Java.
- Design and build scalable APIs and services for network automation, policy enforcement, and optimized traffic routing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Debug and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and applications.
- Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
- Write comprehensive tests to ensure the reliability and stability of code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software defined networks, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- 4-7 years of experience.
- Proven experience in developing applications using Golang or Java with proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and logging tools like the ELK stack.
- Solid knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and radios.
- Understanding of SD-WAN architecture and smart network principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues, especially at the network layer.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- U.S. Citizenship.

Compensation
For U.S. Based candidates: The starting base salary range for this role varies based on location experience, skills, and qualifications. Clearing premium: $25,000/year for active TS/SCI (and maintaining eligibility).
