Software Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance with Security Clearance

About the role

Elucidation Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer (SWE) - Skill Level 2 to join our innovative team. This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.
• Design and develop new software or modify existing software to add features and capabilities.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in existing software.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases and data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop and implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Aid in developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write and review software and system documentation and implement recommendations for improvement.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design decisions.
• Create or implement complex database or data repository interfaces, queries, and algorithms.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work is completed in accordance with defined software development processes.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functionality to ensure operational specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
