Software Engineer / Technical Associate - Onsite

About the role

We are looking for a highly technical Technical Analyst / Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong software engineer who is interested in applying their technical skills within a venture investing environment focused on B2B technology, FinTech, and DeepTech. Hands-on software engineering ability is the most important qualification for this role. Prior venture capital or investment experience is not required and can be learned on the job.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to evaluate and support investments in B2B technology, FinTech, and DeepTech companies.
• Conduct hands-on technical analysis, code reviews, and due diligence on potential investments.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to provide engineering guidance and strategic technical input.
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities through technical assessment.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with demonstrated hands-on coding experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go, JavaScript).
• Experience with software development best practices, debugging, and system design.
• Interest in venture investing and the ability to learn investment principles on the job.
