Software Engineer Team Leader

4-month fully remote contract role.

About the Role

Lead a software-engineering team, providing technical direction while coordinating work across multiple teams. Focus on secure, containerized .NET applications and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Read, troubleshoot, and modify application code in C# and .NET.
• Investigate and remediate application-security vulnerabilities.
• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes-based platforms (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift).
• Support customer-facing digital banking, account-opening, or financial-services applications.
• Perform root-cause analysis and solve complex technical problems.
• Provide technical direction to other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a senior or technical-lead capacity.
• Strong experience with C# and the .NET platform.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software-delivery practices.
• Experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical work across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while providing technical direction to other engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with Harness or a comparable CI/CD platform.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Familiarity with secure API design, authentication, data obfuscation, and container-image remediation.

Pay

$80–$85 per hour.
