Software Engineer Team Leader

4-month fully remote contract role.

About the role

Lead a software-engineering team while hands-on with code, security, and delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Read, troubleshoot, and modify application code.
• Investigate and remediate application-security vulnerabilities.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Coordinate technical work across multiple teams.
• Provide technical direction to other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a senior or technical-lead capacity.
• Strong experience with C# and the .NET platform.
• Practical experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with Harness or a comparable CI/CD platform.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Experience supporting customer-facing digital banking, account-opening, or financial-services applications.
• Familiarity with secure API design, authentication, data obfuscation, and container-image remediation.
