About the role
We are looking for strong product-minded developers to join our small but growing team. As a Software Engineer on Product Experiences, you'll have vast ownership across the capabilities that define how customers use the Peregrine platform, including Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, Network, Table, Workspace, Docs, Automations, and Mobile.
Responsibilities
- Take on some of our most visible challenges, like building search and semantic discovery that helps users find the right answer across billions of records
- Design Dossier views that assemble a complete picture of an entity on demand
- Craft real-time, collaborative experiences on detailed maps and networks
- Bring AI-powered capabilities to users where source transparency and trust are non-negotiable
- Obsess over the craft details such as latency, interaction design, and resilience that make complex workflows feel effortless
Requirements
- Desire and drive to own large portions of the user-facing platform from start to finish
- Passion for crafting and shipping product experiences that delight users
- A strong eye for interaction design and a partnership instinct with design and PM
- Thrive on ambiguity and love taking on hard problems
- Excellent technical vision with the ability to synthesize product requests into strong and reliable software components
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams
- Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade, user-facing software professionally and/or in the open-source community
- Strong frontend fundamentals (React/TypeScript) and comfort working full-stack to ship a feature end to end
- Ability to write robust, well tested, and well-designed code that frequently gets deployed to users
- Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems
- Strong best practices in modern software development and comfort navigating large codebases

Pay
Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
