Job Summary

Securiport is hiring a Software Engineer (3–5 years experience) to build scalable, high-impact systems supporting global border security and threat detection. In this role, you’ll develop C#/.NET backend services, APIs, and microservices that power real-time data processing and analytics platforms. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and DevOps teams in an Agile environment, contributing to systems that are secure, distributed, and performance-driven. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain .NET (C#) applications, APIs (REST/gRPC), and microservices
• Work with SQL Server/MySQL for data modeling, queries, and optimization
• Contribute to distributed systems and asynchronous processing workflows
• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver features end-to-end (design → deployment)
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software
• Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and DevOps best practices
• Containerize applications using Docker (Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
• Integrate messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ (nice to have)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong experience with C# and .NET
• Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
• Familiarity with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of software engineering experience (backend-focused preferred)
Strong experience with C# and .NET
Experience building APIs and microservices architectures
Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
