Supports an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrates technical parameters and assures compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Optimizes total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Debugs existing software and corrects defects.
Provides recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
Designs and codes new software or modifies existing software to add new features.
Integrates existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Develops simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.

Experience and Qualifications
- Required Education and Years of Experience: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited course of study and 7+ years of professional experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance, Experience with Java software development, Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation, Experience working in an Agile software development environment, Experience using with Jira and Confluence, Experience with one or more of the following software development skills: React, C#, Visual Basic, HTML, XML.
- Desired Qualifications: Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components, Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software, AWS Experience, Elasticsearch, Springboot, Kafka, Monolithic Springboot to Microservices, Hibernate/JPA, Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite).
Pay Range
$132,000 - $165,000
