Software Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design, architect, and build low-latency systems and infrastructure with zero-downtime requirements.
• Develop services and components that operate on multi-petabyte datasets at scale.
• Write production-quality code primarily in Python or C++ to support real-time, mission-critical pipelines.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scaling issues in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with SRE, data engineering, and product teams to define interfaces and SLAs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and operational playbooks to maintain high availability.
• Drive technical decisions and own features from design through deployment and monitoring.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–15 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python or C++ with production experience.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets (multi-petabyte scale preferred).
• Proven track record building or maintaining low-latency, real-time, mission-critical systems.
• Ability to design for observability, reliability, and scale.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: systems design, data structures, algorithms.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (outstanding academic background preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed storage, streaming systems, or real-time databases.
• Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization tools.
• Background working in financial services or high-throughput trading/analytics systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Prior exposure to designing for petabyte-scale storage and retrieval.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay up to $300,000 USD (base) plus exceptional bonus potential — exact package will depend on experience and role level.
