About the role

The Role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software for missile defense and electronic warfare missions.
• Aid in the development, testing, and analysis of new concepts and algorithms for sensor and weapon command and control.
• Improve simulations and real-time systems through refactoring and adding new capabilities.
• Analyze software inputs and outputs to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with government and industry partners to define software architecture and requirements.
• Support evaluation activities and transition documentation and capabilities to government or industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Java or C++, Python, Git/GitLab, and Linux environments.
• Experience with software containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman) and/or relational database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance by start date, and ultimately a TS/SCI clearance.

Skills

• Java or C++ programming skills.
• Python programming skills.
• Git/GitLab version control.
• Linux environment familiarity.
• Software containerization knowledge (Docker, Podman).
• Relational database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
