About the role
The Role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software for missile defense and electronic warfare missions.
- Aid in the development, testing, and analysis of new concepts and algorithms for sensor and weapon command and control.
- Improve simulations and real-time systems through refactoring and adding new capabilities.
- Analyze software inputs and outputs to ensure proper operation.
- Collaborate with government and industry partners to define software architecture and requirements.
- Support evaluation activities and transition documentation and capabilities to government or industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Java or C++, Python, Git/GitLab, and Linux environments.
- Experience with software containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman) and/or relational database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance by start date, and ultimately a TS/SCI clearance.
Skills
- Java or C++ programming skills.
- Python programming skills.
- Git/GitLab version control.
- Linux environment familiarity.
- Software containerization knowledge (Docker, Podman).
- Relational database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
