About the role
NVIDIA is seeking a Linux Graphics Software Engineer to join their team. This position involves developing and maintaining software for NVIDIA's GPUs, focusing on Wayland, Vulkan, and OpenGL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SW technologies targeting NVIDIA's GPU hardware on Linux-based operating systems.
- Ensure high performance and feature quality across cross-platform implementations.
- Collaborate with test automation to achieve outstanding feature quality and timely regression identification.
- Work with worldwide internal teams including software, hardware, architecture, and OEM support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years hands-on experience developing graphics system level software, particularly for the Linux OS.
- 3+ years of programming experience in C and C++.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with Linux gaming development.
- Low-level Linux operating system knowledge, including memory/resource management, scheduling, and process control.
- A self-motivated teammate with a positive attitude.
Benefits
- Base salary range: $116,000 - $189,750 USD.
- Eligibility for equity and benefits.
Pay
The base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
