Software Engineer - Level III

Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom websites and applications.
• Develop and implement front-end user interfaces and back-end functionalities across various platforms.
• Provide limited support to graphics related efforts for the organization's SharePoint page and other internal content management systems.
• Use analytics and monitoring tools to assess site performance and user behavior.
• Build and support event registration and information sites with customized features tailored to mission requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Army cybersecurity and accessibility standards when developing and maintaining web assets.
• Develop technical documentation and configuration settings related to web security, backup procedures, and overall site architecture.
• Provide backup support for digital and social media platforms.
• Provide backup support for other graphics related functions.

Required Qualifications

• A Department of War security clearance is required.
• All applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Must possess advanced technical skills in responsive design, wireframing, and visual design to create effective and user-friendly websites.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint & other design tools as well as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as UNIX, Windows NT, TCP/IP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile framework and ability to apply best practices using industry standards.
• Proficient in Java, Python or C++ development.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation.

Pay

$108,000 - $162,000 / year
