Software Engineer IV

About the role

This is a 100% remote contract position for a Research Engineer to work in an AI Lab on ML research projects. The role involves implementing research, working with large-scale data processing, and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Must-have skills

• ML Experience: at least 2+ years
• Large Scale Data Processing Experience: at least 2+ years
• Leading XFN (Cross-Functional) Projects: at least 2+ years
• Coding background: Python, PyTorch, and SQL

Preferred qualifications

• 6+ years of experience (or equivalent) in research engineering, ML engineering, or systems/software engineering with ML implementation work
• Publications of their work and experience giving presentations at top conferences showcasing their research
• Soft Skills: high attention to detail, go-getter personality, team player, and problem solver attitude. No egos
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field is required

• Research Experience
• CUDA / Infra / Memory Debugging
• Backend / Frontend

Pay

$85 - $90 per hour (open for discussion). Full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K contributions, PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by applicable state or localities.
