Software Engineer IV

About the role

CIVID ID is seeking a Software Engineer IV to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role supports product development, enhancements, configurations, and deployments of the Issuance 360 Back Office product within Driver License and ID Programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, and deploy business solutions using Java, Angular, API endpoints, and Apache Camel routes.
• Debug through the existing Back Office product and occasionally engage in binary development.
• Own, track, and drive execution of sprints and Jira boards.
• Describe and figure out the shape of a problem and work through a solution.
• Work collaboratively with Delivery teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, Delivery Engineers, Solution Architects, Program Managers, QA Engineers, and Application Engineers.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks.
• Extensive experience with Agile methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced ability to debug and troubleshoot software, configuration, and database related issues in a complete Enterprise application.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others within the team, including receiving assistance from subject matter experts and being a subject matter expert for others.
• Understand complex interactions between various software suites and be able to validate, transform, and route data appropriately.
• Create/update technical engineering documentation.
• Effectively communicate with other team members, Delivery Engineers, Solution Architects, Program Managers, QA Engineers, and Application Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or significant equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of strong engineering background.

Skills

• OO design principles.
• Java (or C#).
• AWS (as IaaS and/or SaaS).
• AWS Lambda.
• XML, XSD, and XSLT.
• JSON, SOAP, and REST services.
• PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Popular software ALM tools (Jira, GitLab, Artifactory or equivalents).

Nice to Have Skills

• Wildfly server.
• Apache Camel.
• JBPM using KIE Workbench.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a sole US citizen without dual citizenship.
• Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen as well as obtain any required program specific credentials and certifications.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $112,130.00 - $140,171.00 plus bonus and benefits. IDEMIA is an equal opportunity employer.
