As such, the company is shifting from a hybrid work model to a fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate innovative big data computing frameworks and storage systems to empower large-scale platform services.
• Design and optimize high-concurrency distributed systems to ensure stability during peak global traffic.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive large-scale engineering initiatives.
• Drive technical innovation by integrating new ideas and emerging technologies into the core platform.
• Enhance system efficiency and scalability to support the rapid growth of the global e-commerce ecosystem.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing an Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027. Experience in programming, included but not limited to the following programming languages: C, C++, Java or Golang; Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience in AI coding is a plus. Strong learning ability, clear communication, and a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.

Pay

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $42.75‑$42.75.

Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
