Software Engineer III (Java & AWS)

Responsibilities

• Build and support automation solutions, integrating with databases and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with delivery and partner teams to drive measurable improvements in quality and operational efficiency.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and lead process and design sessions.
• Design and develop Java-based applications.
• Build and maintain AWS cloud services and serverless solutions.
• Support production systems and resolve incidents.
• Participate in technical design of features.
• Focus on attaining expertise in more technical areas.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure high-quality integrations and reliable solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve workflow or system issues while providing ongoing technical support.
• Create and maintain documentation for solutions, processes, configurations, and standards.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 3+ years work experience or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Java and AWS required.
• SQL experience required.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience working with both legacy platforms and modernization initiatives.
• Preferred experience: Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Test-driven development, DevOps practices, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, React, AWS CDK.

Pay

Salary range: $94,000 - $127,000 per year (non-sales positions eligible for bonus program).
