About the Opportunity
The Software Engineer I, Fullstack role is responsible for developing and enhancing a growing software platform that supports clinical trial workflows. The position involves building new features, improving existing code, and ensuring software reliability and compliance with industry standards. This role contributes by shaping the application architecture and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions to complex problems using code.
- Build and refactor features for internal and external users.
- Work with various systems and technologies to create sustainable solutions.
- Influence the architecture of the application platform considering future product needs.
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and integration.
- Mentor and exchange knowledge with team members.
- Ensure code quality for individual and team outputs.
- Support a SaaS platform used in clinical trial workflows, focusing on reliability, data integrity, and compliance.
- Work with clinical, QA, and regulatory teams to meet validation and inspection requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years of full life cycle development experience in Python.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and quick learning ability in complex domains.
- Experience designing and building Python-based applications (FastAPI or Django).
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Ability to collaborate in distributed teams and work autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments.
- Experience with AWS cloud platform; knowledge of Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Annual pay range: $96,750 to $148,350
Not overtime eligible
Eligible for restricted stock units (RSUs)
