Join our team as a Software Engineer - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS) at Lockheed Martin. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for advanced missile defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for missile defense systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system architects, and quality assurance specialists
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality standards are met
• Participate in project planning and execution meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and/or Java
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of missile defense systems and related technologies is a plus

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
