About The Role
The role owns the end-to-end development of critical, user-facing features and the robust backend services that power them. The team operates in a fast-paced environment where software engineers bridge the gap between frontend user experience and scalable system architecture, building products that serve millions of API requests daily. You will collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, and infrastructure engineers to turn complex product requirements into reliable, responsive, and secure web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend components using React, TypeScript, and modern state management libraries
- Build scalable, secure, and performant REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Go, or Python
- Optimize application performance, resolving database bottlenecks, optimizing queries, and implementing caching strategies using Redis or Memcached
- Design and manage relational and non-relational database schemas, working extensively with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain high code coverage and prevent regressions
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain application health in cloud environments, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language such as Node.js, Go, Python, or Java
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React or Vue.js, and standard CSS frameworks
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL optimization, and schema design principles
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker
- Bonus: Experience with GraphQL federated graphs, CI/CD pipeline configuration, or real-time communication protocols like WebSockets
