Software Engineer (Data Focused)

About the role

This is a Python-focused Software/Data Engineering opportunity with a profitable Series A startup based in Boston. You'll join a smaller team of engineers building and scaling cloud-native data pipelines that process complex datasets. The focus is on data processing, infrastructure, and pipeline development, with significant exposure to the data that powers the company's product.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines in Python
• Developing cloud-native workflows using AWS Step Functions
• Deploying and managing workloads in Kubernetes
• Working directly with geospatial and raster datasets
• Improving data processing performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborating closely with a small engineering team and taking ownership of projects end-to-end

Compensation and Benefits
