Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative software solutions that empower customers.
• Guide testing and configuration management processes, and manage source code and change processes.
• Collaborate with various partners to create top-tier software products aligned with strategic goals.
• Support and maintain various systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop software solutions through comprehensive requirements analysis and collaboration with stakeholders and IT Management.
• Delve into systems flow, data usage, and work processes, employing software development fundamentals to design, debug, test, and deploy effective software solutions.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business processes, procedures, and systems, leading to recommendations for improvements and changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, with 4+ years of experience in software development, database technologies, version control systems, and DevOps tools, cloud computing platforms, and microservices architecture, or other directly related experience.
• Financial or banking services experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of software development processes and procedures, modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Extensive knowledge of application development using various technologies, languages, databases, integrations, frameworks, and systems, software development lifecycles, SQL and database systems, Java programming and application servers (e.g., WebSphere, Tomcat Java), data modeling concepts, and integrated application development methodology.
• Extensive working knowledge of software design, integration, and high-performance software development.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and testing skills.
• Strong analysis, judgment, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, both verbal and written, with technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and map them to various programs, interpret, validate, and map business requirements to appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing technology and priorities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects, and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
