Software Engineer

Job Summary

SS&C Eze is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Eze OMS team based out of our Boston headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development, a commitment to quality, and excellent analytical skills.

About the Role

Join a dynamic team consisting of a Product Manager, QA, Scrum Master, and other Software Engineers. Develop high-quality code on schedule, participate in Scrum activities, contribute to feature design, provide code reviews, perform unit testing, and support system testing and bug resolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code on schedule, based on a technical design.
• Participate in Scrum activities, including backlog refinement and user story estimation.
• Contribute to the design of new features and functionalities.
• Provide code reviews for teammates.
• Perform unit testing, automation testing, and collaborate with QA engineers for system testing and bug resolution.
• Diagnose problems with the code and optimize performance.
• Provide tier-3 product support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• 2+ years of development experience, preferably with C# and SQL.
• Strong skills in object-oriented design and programming.
• Strong knowledge of data algorithms and structures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience building REST APIs is a plus.
• Experience in web development language (React\JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL Server, Networking, or the investment industry is a plus.
