Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support software for use in X-ray imaging and computed tomography
• Create technical design, implementation and training documentation that describes new software functionality
• Use varied development tools including Visual Studio, GitHub, coding agents, issue and task tracking for implementation of software solutions
• Communicate new developments and findings to internal/external customers in the form of presentations, technical reports and patent applications
• Develop and support software interfaces to a variety of hardware devices: UIs, X-ray detectors, X-ray sources, optical cameras, motion components, robots
• Support new and maintaining engineering and planning

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Proficient with C++, C# or Python
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience with Machine Learning, tools like Claude/Cursor, PyTorch, TensorFlow
• Self-motivated and solid problem-solving abilities
• Team player - leverage existing code and teammates
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving specifications
• Customer-focused with a preference for practical solutions

Compensation Information

Compensation for this position ranges from $68,000 - $84,000 based on education and experience.
