Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Computer Science and Computer Engineering studies or other related discipline from an accredited college/university. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Skills to troubleshoot issues with minimum supervision.
- Ability to collaborate with others.
- Ability to interpret requirements and implement them.
- Programming experience required.
- An active secret clearance is required for consideration.

Responsibilities
- Primary interface with project leads and System Engineers for software architecture decisions.
- Perform software engineering lifecycle requirements following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include: Requirements analysis, Object oriented analysis & design (OOD), Code & unit test, integration, Support to formal test and delivery.
- Participate in technical reviews and audits of software products.
- Utilize Model Based Design approaches.
- Support development of complex system internal and external interfaces.
- This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple software development, spacecraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams.
- This role will be in System Integration Database group and will entail working to maintain legacy software, administration of development, test, and production environments and supporting development and test teams for next generation software.
- This role will also support the verification and validation of production data.
Qualifications
- This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL (level 2) ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
Desired Skills
- Administrative experience with: AWS or RedHat Open Stack, Linux Server, Jira, GitLab, Python, SQL, Docker, MySQL, Server Bash scripting, VM management.
- Familiarity with JAVA, SQL, Object Oriented Methodologies and UML Modeling Techniques.
- OS background to include RedHat Linux, Windows; Fundamental knowledge of program planning principles.
- Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, hardware, telemetry, command & control.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Confluence.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
