Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree with a concentration in computer science courses.
• Candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience and/or 1 year with a masters degree.
• Experience with development in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in Java development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Level Clearance.

Work Description

Lockheed Martin is looking for a proactive Software Engineer with a strong background in software engineering. In this role, you will drive the design, implementation and integration of software products that support our readiness solutions for Naval Combat and Missile Defense Programs across multiple DoD customers. You will work within an Agile environment to transform high level system requirements into validated, deployable software. The Software Engineer will execute Software engineering processes starting from high level system requirements, product requirements allocation, and product software design through software implementation.

• Integrate software application within a larger system environment.
• Regression test in larger system.
