Software Engineer

At Intelliforce, we build software that helps mission teams move faster in environments where reliability, speed, and clarity matter every day. In this role, you will help design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment. This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys Python development, cloud-native platforms, and building applications that have to perform in real operational settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to deliver new capabilities
• Build and maintain Python services in a Linux environment
• Design and implement REST interfaces that support mission workflows
• Create and maintain Helm charts to support clean, repeatable Kubernetes deployments
• Support CI/CD pipelines and source-controlled team workflows
• Help improve application reliability, maintainability, and deployment efficiency

Requirements

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Education: Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Or Seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Qualifications

• Experience using the Linux CLI and tool suite
• Experience developing Bash and Python scripts
• Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
• Experience designing and implementing REST interfaces
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with Git source control system

Skills

• Experience with the Django web framework
• Experience with the Celery task scheduler
• Experience with NGINX
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code

Pay

Compensation Range: $155,000.00 - $205,000.00
