Software Engineer

About the role

The Embedded Software Engineer will join a specialized team focused on vehicle health management systems to support advanced defense and security programs.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and testing software integrated into embedded devices and systems to meet safety and regulation standards.
• Translating customer requirements into technical designs for embedded devices and specialized hardware.
• Integrating embedded software with hardware components and monitoring system efficiency and stability.
• Participating in use case development and maintaining requirements, algorithms, and interfaces for health management software.
• Collaborating with program partners and stakeholders to integrate complex software components using Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience with embedded systems and software development using C or C++.
• Experience working within an Agile product development environment.
• Familiarity with Linux, software containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Likely to be based in the United States.
• Likely to require a security clearance.

• Strong programming skills in C or C++.
