Software Engineer
The Work
The Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missiles Systems team is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, updating, and integrating software applications on ATE hardware.
- Supporting test program development and integration.
- Contributing to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software cycle.
- Utilizing Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs.
- Enhancing product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience using C, C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Software design and testing experience in a professional environment.
- Experience utilizing Agile software development methodologies.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment software development.
- Experience with creating software using API for test equipment or similar hardware.
- Experience using Git and Jira tools.
- Ability to work in an integrated cross-functional team setting (Systems, Hardware, Integration and Test Engineers).
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance, which necessitates being a U.S. citizen. A Secret security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be prepared to undergo a background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for a security clearance.
