Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions that improve patient care and reduce medical errors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, IT specialists, and other developers
- Utilize modern development methodologies and tools such as JS, TS, and C# to innovate in healthcare
- Contribute to the design and implementation of healthcare applications that enhance data sharing and accessibility
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of Epic’s software
Requirements
- BS/BA or greater in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- A history of academic excellence or professional success
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (persons with appropriate qualifications and eligible for TN status under NAFTA may apply)
Qualifications
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of healthcare informatics and familiarity with Epic’s EHR system
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific software development tools and standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
