Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions that improve patient care and reduce medical errors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, IT specialists, and other developers
• Utilize modern development methodologies and tools such as JS, TS, and C# to innovate in healthcare
• Contribute to the design and implementation of healthcare applications that enhance data sharing and accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of Epic’s software

Requirements

• BS/BA or greater in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• A history of academic excellence or professional success
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (persons with appropriate qualifications and eligible for TN status under NAFTA may apply)

Qualifications

• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of healthcare informatics and familiarity with Epic’s EHR system
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly

Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific software development tools and standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
