About the role
Code that saves lives. As a software developer at Epic, you’ll write software that impacts the lives of 325 million patients around the world. Working in your own office, surrounded by thousands of high-caliber developers, you’ll use modern development methodologies and employ user-centered design, analytics, and machine learning tools to drive innovation in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Use leading-edge technologies and languages like JS, TS, and C# to invent better ways to reduce medical errors, streamline record sharing between hospitals, and provide the quality of care a patient deserves.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance the healthcare experience.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through participation in agile development practices and regular code reviews.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology to ensure your contributions remain relevant and effective.
Requirements
- A BS/BA or greater in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A history of academic excellence or professional success.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (persons with appropriate qualifications and eligible for TN status under NAFTA may apply).
Qualifications
- Experience with modern development methodologies and user-centered design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
- Experience with agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of healthcare IT standards and protocols.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time position with standard business hours.
