Software Engineer 4 - Contingent

About the role

As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and technical expertise, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend APIs and services using C#/.NET 6/7+, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, JBPM.
• Develop intuitive, performant Angular (13+) UI components using TypeScript, RxJS, and modular architecture.
• Design and enhance Spark ETL/ELT pipelines including transformations, data quality rules, and performance tuning.
• Write high coverage unit tests using xUnit/NUnit for backend and Jasmine/Karma for Angular with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, quality gates, and cloud-native delivery.

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server, Spark, REST API, Angular, and .NET Core.
• Experience with containerization and deployment on OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, and cloud-native practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles such as SOLID, Mediator, DI, and microservices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to partner with diverse teams and offshore support.
