About the role

As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Policy Governance Platform team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, collaboration, and innovative thinking, which will align successfully in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Design and implement responsive user interfaces with Angular, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Work with RESTful APIs and SQL databases to support multiple parallel initiatives on the policy governance platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application updates, regulatory compliance, and policy management.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, contributing to monthly releases and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development, including Spring, XML, JSON, REST APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based applications with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
