Software Engineer 3

Responsibilities

The Dataflow Engineer will focus on system operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, with specific attention to NiFi dataflows and NiFi cluster management. Some light Python scripting is required. The candidate will also support system integration, upgrade, and deployment activities. The majority of the time will be spent working with systems that ingest large volumes of data.

• Elastic cluster management and deployment
• Creating Kibana visualizations and dashboards
• Enhancing data analytic solutions

Requirements

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

• Required Qualifications: TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Required Technical Skills: Foundational processing and dataflow within operations; increasing efficiency and throughput; strong experience working knowledge of NiFi is required; in-depth understanding of corporate dataflow and knowledge of common tools such as DX, ElasticSearch, Kibana; intermediate knowledge of Linux and Docker

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or equivalent

Skills

• Knowledge and/or experience with the customer's analytic tools
• Kubernetes, Kafka

$86.20 - $136.27 per hour
