Software Engineer 1 (API) with Security Clearance

Job Summary

Sixteen (16) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE), in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Using Django or Flask for web development
• Developing REST endpoints
• Working with databases using MongoDB or MariaDB
• Developing microservices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Django or Flask
• Experience with MongoDB or MariaDB
• Experience with REST endpoints
• Experience with microservice models
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE

Qualifications

• Desired skills include:
• Experience with Swagger
• AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience
• Docker
• Experience with Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
• Experience with JSON and/or XML serialization
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience with Agile methodologies
