Software Engineer 1 with Security Clearance

About the role

Responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet security clearance requirements. Works closely with project managers and clients to understand requirements and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications using secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing software systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Document software design and development processes for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Security clearance required.
• Experience with secure coding practices and compliance with government regulations.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
