About the role

AECOM is actively seeking Developers to work on a broad range of projects. This position supports clients by transforming data and automating processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and maintain business automation and intelligence tools and the data structures which supply them.
  • Understand what clients need to do with data and work with experts and coworkers to accomplish it.
  • Plan the steps required to accomplish a client’s requirements and estimate the effort and schedule needed to complete them.
  • Articulate technical challenges and proposed solutions to non-technical decision makers.
  • Query databases and use APIs to obtain data.
  • Suggest innovative solutions for client requirements.
  • Initiate contact with mentors and coworkers to work through problems and questions.
  • Proactively engage with coworkers and clients throughout the world.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related degree +6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Experience designing and building tools for process automation solutions, including PowerApps or competitive platforms.
  • Experience designing and building dashboards.
  • Working understanding of relational databases.

  • SharePoint Development
  • Web Development
  • JavaScript knowledge
  • SQL
  • Database Exposure to Azure services
  • Experience and of basic coding languages including Python, C#, HTML5, and JavaScript, Node.JS, REACT
  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS solutions (ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise), including working with spatial data and integrating GIS data with enterprise systems

Qualifications

Benefits

This is a client-facing position; effective communication is as important as technical skill. The successful candidate will be ready to lead requirements and design workshops with clients, both in person and remotely. The person in this position will work with multiple clients at once, and though this is a full-time salaried position, will be required to accurately allocate their daily time worked to the appropriate projects.

Pay

The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $100000 to $140000 per year.

Schedule

This is a full-time salaried position.
